Peter Heßler is the Managing Director and the Co-Owner of URT Umwelt- und Recyclingtechnik GmbH in Germany. Since co-founding the company in 1995, he has led the planning, design, and global delivery of WEEE recycling plants, shaping international approaches to electronic waste management.
Peter has driven innovation in recycling technologies for more than three decades, from pioneering refrigerator disposal plants to advancing lithium-ion battery recycling. His leadership has enabled large-scale industrial solutions, including Volkswagen’s pilot plant for battery recycling.
